The effects of a pandemic like COVID-19 are easy to see. But what about the causes? Watch the below video to see what COVID-19 has taught us about our planet, and ourselves. Learn why our health depends on the health of the planet, and why we already have it in us to make a change – though we may just not have realized it yet.
The Earth Hour started by WWF and partners as a symbolic lights-out event in Sydney in 2007, Earth Hour is now one of the world’s largest grassroots movements for the environment. Held every year on the last Saturday of March, Earth Hour engages millions of people in more than 180 countries and territories, switching off their lights to show support for our planet. But Earth Hour goes far beyond the symbolic action of switching off – it has become a catalyst for positive environmental impact, driving major legislative changes by harnessing the power of the people and collective action. Earth Hour is open-source and welcomes everyone, anyone, to take part and help amplify its mission to unite people to protect our planet.

Re-create the same unmissable sight online by taking over the social media feeds of millions around the world and putting the spotlight on our planet, the issues we face, and our place within it all.
